Visceral Manipulation

The Visceral Manipulation is a technique developed French osteopath Jean-Pierre Barral. In an optimal state of health, the relationship between the viscera and body structures (muscles, fascias, membranes and bones) remains stable although the huge variety of body movements. But at the moment, due to abnormal tone, adhesions or alterations of, a body becomes unable to move in harmony with the surrounding viscera, it is operating at the expense of other organs and structures of the body. This disharmony creates fixed points of abnormal tension that the body is forced to evade. Chronic irritation that flows in turn activates the conditions for the onset of disorders and diseases.
The Visceral Manipulation relies on the specific placement of the hand strength to regularize the mobility, tone and motion of the viscera and their connective tissues. Such manipulations somewhat delicate can improve the functioning of individual organs, the systems in which they operate and also the structural integrity of the entire body.
